One of my favourite clients ordered a 3D Dinosaur Cake from me. I was a bit hesitant, having never done a carved cake before, but I knew that I could not let this little guy down.

And I don’t think I did. I must admit to finding the instructions on how to carve the cake over here, which really did help alot.

I didn’t want to do the ‘traditional’ green dino, so opted for a bright turquoise together with orange spikes. I think the colour combination is pretty awesome actually!

I then also made some iced Sugar Cookies to be given away as party favours. They’re pretty cute too i think.

I have to be completely honest and say that this was by far the easiest themed birthday cake I have made to date. And I loved every minute of it.
