Barney Cake

Barney is not my favourite character to create.  The colour is difficult to get right, and so is he.  But, a challenge I could never resist so ;)

This was a first birthday cake for little Elizah.  She loves Barney (what 1 year old doesn’t?) and her mama sent me a pic of the cake she wanted.

Such a lovely idea.  A cake in the shape of a present, with a big yellow sugarpaste bow, and Barney just for good measure.

Cake was Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream.

And Barney turned out ok too!

Bizzy Bear Cake

I had never heard of Bizzy Bear when I was asked to create this cake for a sweet little girl’s First Birthday Party.  So I had to do some investigating.

And this is what I created.  A fun, bright and dotty cake.

The Mama and little girl both loved the cake – which was Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream.

I also baked some Bizzy Bear Sugar Cookies which were added to the Party Packs.

What fun this party was to create.

An ‘Under Construction Party’.

I made a the very simple Chocolate Cake, with Chocolate Fudge frosting and simple added an Orange Digger onto the Top.
