Earlier this week I featured my daughters Rainbow Party, and I promised there would be some “Tips & Trick’s” to follow.
I’m going to start by sharing How To make these completely moreish Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows.
You Will Need:
Bag of Marshmallows
Bar of Milk or Dark Chocolate
M&M’s (or smarties)
How To:
Simply arrange you marshmallows on a large plate or tray.
Break your chocolate into squares and place in a microwave safe bowl, and place in the microwave for a couple of minutes. The time the chocolate takes to melt is completely dependent on the wattage of your microwave. I would check every 30 seconds to be on the safe side.
Once the chocolate is melted stir quickly to get rid of any tiny lumps.
Then the FUN begins!
Simply dip the top of the marshmallow (obviously a flat side) into the chocolate, and place bottom side down on the plate. Do a few in quick succession and then start decorating.
Place the M&M (or smartie) in the middle of the marshmallow.
You need to do this whilst the chocolate is still slightly soft in order for the M&M to stick.
Leave to set (away from little fingers) and then serve.
I like to use M&M’s as their colours are vibrant.
This is also a super easy sweety treat for the kiddies to make!
The look stunning, and really easy – nice!
