So, this was the first My Little Pony cake that I have been asked to make – and I loved every minute of it.
My client, Kayla, wanted her ponies on the cake, and it had to be vanilla.

So this is what she got. I have been wanting to create a sugarpaste rainbow for sometime now, but have not had the opportunity. I decided that this was it. So the cake was frosted with Vanilla Buttercream and covered with sugarpaste. I then added my rainbow (with a layer of pink added), a few sugarpaste clouds and her name and age. Plus of course the Ponies.
I have to say, the thrill I get from seeing my clients faces when they open their cake boxes never diminishes. Kayla *loved* her cake and wanted everyone to see. Absolutely delightful!
